Can't recommend highly enough. Anne welcomed us with a beer—much needed—ran our kit through the washing machine and sent us off next day with a wonderful breakfast. After a sweaty day on the Downs we were frankly not the most appealing guests, so the warmth of the welcome was especially impressive! A lovely place to stay.

Staying at Holt House over August Bank Holiday weekend was a great experience. The location is in a quiet village just off the A24 and was relatively easy to find. Anne, the hostess and owner is a joy to be with. Very caring, she made sure that we had all we required. This included a vegan breakfast and treats for one of our party. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We've made reservations for next year already.
