Great hotel! Very clean rooms, comfy beds and the staff is very helpful. The food in the restaurant is also great. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay was very short in the hotel but really nice. Staff is smiley and welcoming. Room is veeery cozy. Frankly speaking I expected to have bathrobes, slippers and some more of the bathroom amenities but it's not the most important. Bed is very comfy, huge window gives a lot of light. In spite of hair on the floor, no dust was found in the room. The dinner worth mentioning separately - we had lamb, soups, schnitzel - all was very tasty. Breakfast had a nice variety of. Old cuts, yogurt, coffee machine with a basic selection of coffee. Verdict - the hotel is very cozy, welcoming and worth recommendations

Already for more then 10 years experiences in this hotel. It is great, super, FANTASTIC! Staff is friendly and professional. Rooms are perfect and the restaurant/kitchen is always good quality. Happiness and joy at Hotel Zur Post. THE BEST !!!

Hotel has two buildings, the old, original one and a new one, right beside the old one. At my first stay I was in the new one and it was perfect! Spacious, new, nicely designed, bright. On my second stay I was in the old building. It was still clean and fair but just a shade of the new building. So if you can get a room in the new building, I highly recommend it. In the old, it is jus a usual 3 star hotel. Breakfast was good. Staff nice and helpful.

Located right downtown Garrel, the hotel, which dates back to 1911, offers a nice combination of pretty affordable rate (Euro 59,90 for a single room as of August 2012), friendly, warm service and comfort. Breakfast, included in the rate, is just sensational. Rooms are spacious, impeccably clean and comfortable and count on a balcony. A nice, charming bar and a restaurant with a great menu in the ground floor complete the structure. No better place in town for a stay!

I cannot say anything bad about this hotel. We stayed at the four-star building (the restaurant and the reception is at the three-star one). The room was large, pretty, comfortable, clean, but what I really liked in this hotel is the kindness of the staff. They were smiling all the time, and we could feel that these were real smiles, these guys were really happy to have us their as their guest. The night when we arrived there was a wedding or something in the restaurant, and there was no parking space left in their lot. One of the waitresses was so kind that she parked out her own car so that we do not have to leave our car on the street. This lady and their collegues went that extra mile. These guys had won us. Everytime we will make holidays in this part of Germany, we will stay at this hotel.

The hotel is situated along the Hauptstrasse, a busy main street with lots of traffic. However, once we were in our renovated room, we didn't hear anything. The room was clean, the bathroom too. The staff are very nice and helpful. Plenty of parking spaces. Arrival is easier than leaving, because you might have to wait a long time before you can join the traffic in the street.

Our story begins with Ukraine, as you all know, there is a war there ... my wife (pregnant) and I left Irpen (near Kiev) at the beginning of March and arrived in Gdansk, We were offered to move to Germany and were told that there would be better conditions, than in Gdansk. As we understood, the owners of this hotel (or their acquaintances) were engaged in transport, they themselves, without suspecting it, brought us to the refugee camp in Bramsha, there is unsanitary conditions, dirt everywhere, nowhere to sleep and lie down, a lot of noise, And somewhere far away in the forest this horror simply cannot be described in words. Then we called these guys who brought us there, explained the situation and showed what was happening there (they were not allowed to go there, so we sent them photos and videos) And they came for us and took us and told us that we would be in hotel for a while (we were even ready to stay in a bed in a hostel) and they brought us to Garrel and we were settled in this hotel, when we saw the room, we just had tears flowing from their kindness and understanding, we were here for several days and we were treated like guests, although they didn’t take a cent from us, we are very grateful to them and we will never forget their act, when there are favorable conditions for Ukraine (when the war ends), we will definitely return here. and my appeal to guests who want stay here, be sure to stay here because everything is perfect here and the restaurant is excellent, the staff are the best people in the world, if it were possible to put 100⭐ then I would put .. and special thanks to the people of Germany for their support in such a difficult time🥰
