Campingplatz Deichklause

This campingplace is fine. Plenty of space for a tent or camper/caravan, it's quiet, washrooms are clean. The owner is very nice and helpful. The place is only cash (it says so on the website and it is true). It is very much not directed at 'short'staying campers, 95% of the places are occupied by longstayers whom you almost never see. This makes it pretty quiet around the campground. There's only 1 stroke of places for short stayers, which made it hard to change places for us because of a wasp problem (i know time of the year, but it was only extreme at that stroke of places, everywhere else seemed doable, so we ended up buying mosquito nets to keep our peace). As I said, washrooms are clean. There is only 2 showers, one men's and one women's. There's also only 1 place to wash dishes. Overall, it's okay and it's cheap.

Very relaxing, and tourist friendly. Could get a cold soda at the bar for cheap, and a beer if you would like. You could even go for a swim, and take a shower. Very friendly staff.

Really nice place. Perfect distance to the city. Would’ve gotten 5 stars, if there were toilet paper and soap in the bathroom

Very nice, small family run campsite adjacent to the river, only a 5 minute walk from Werden & a 10 min train ride from Essen City Center.

Kleiner netter Platz. Die Betreiber/in super nett und freundlich. Abends wenn es ruhig wird sind die Flugzeuge etwas störend....aber es gibt ja Ohrstöpsel die man/Frau/divers mitnehmen kann. Kein Strom kein Problem...Handy etc kann man am Kiosk kostenfrei laden. Kaffee Bier Cola zu fähren Preisen . Einkauf nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß in der Nähe. Gerne wieder Gruß der Norddeutsche mit dem Bollerwagen

Ein sehr schöner Naturcampingplatz die Dame die das betreibt ist sehr lieb und zuvorkommend eine nette kleine Familie
